Honoré invites CSA Churches to help preserve Hourani wheat, which was buried at the Masada Fortress in 73 CE to protect from the Roman siege. Hourani and all other ancient varieties face a new siege from industrialized farming practices. Join us in the preservation of this wheat and its story!
When your church joins our flour share, organic freshly stone-milled flour will be delivered directly to your church four times a year. Your church will become a part of a larger movement to restore the vitality of Creation to communion bread. This flour is like nothing you’ve tasted: it’s slightly sweet, nutty, nutritious, and easily digestible—some people with gluten sensitivity (though not celiac) find they can once again enjoy bread.
Full share: 56 lbs, for congregations of 75 asa or more. $515 + $15.75 fee*
Half share: 32 lbs, for congregations of 50 asa or more. $260 + $8.00 fee*
Quarter share: 16 lbs, for congregations of 40 asa or less. $150 + $4.75 fee*
