Our curriculum, Wheat Wednesdays, was developed with the students from Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy in Marin City, CA. It inspires students to discover the nutritional impact of eating whole grains through participatory learning. Together, we learn how wheat is grown, harvested, threshed, winnowed, milled and baked — demystifying the process of how a grain of wheat becomes a loaf of bread. We are currently seeking partners and funding to be able to offer this dynamic program to more schools in our area. Help us expand this program into more schools.
